In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our customer-facing product and internal tools. or a related field7+ years of backend software engineering experience, with a strong focus on JavaStrong experience with AWS services (including EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, and RDS)Hands-on experience with RedisExperience building and integrating GraphQL APIsProficiency with Docker and containerized development workflowsStrong backend development skills in both Java and Node.JsDeep understanding of Java concurrency and multithreadingStrong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, SQL, and NoSQL databasesSolid understanding of microservices architecture and design patternsExperience designing and implementing REST APIsExperience writing and maintaining unit and integration testsProficiency with Git and modern version control workflowsOpen-minded, adaptable, and committed to following established engineering standardsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsReceptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvementExperience with video streaming technologies is considered an assetBilingualism is considered an asset (English required to support and service out-of-province clients)LiveBarn is an equal opportunity employer.
