Description

Sun West School Division invites applications for CasualCaretakers in all schools. We have 24 schools within the division, including Kindersley, Biggar, Rosetown, Outlook, Davidson, Kenaston, Kyle, Eston, Eatonia, Beechy and Loreburn. We are seeking casual caretakers to replace caretakers who are absent or to provide additional supports. Flexible hours. Shifts may be as short as 3 hours or up to 8 hours. We are willing to provide training. The hours of work will be scheduled in consultation with the Principal and/or the Facilities Supervisor. With casual employment, you may accept or decline any shifts offered. If you are currently employed we are willing to work around your existing schedule.

This position performs a variety of caretaking duties including cleaning and sanitization duties. Working in a school environment is a positive and happy place to work.

Responsibilities

- Perform cleaning and sanitization duties across school facilities.




- Replace absent caretakers or provide additional support as needed.
- Schedule and manage shifts in consultation with the Principal or Facilities Supervisor.
- Accept or decline shifts as a casual employee, allowing flexibility around existing employment.
- Maintain a protected and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Compensation and Benefits

- Casual Rate: $21.09 per hour.
- Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the current Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4802.
