Mountain Pantry Cashier & Barista - (Winter) Evening, Part-Time

We are looking to fill the Mountain Pantry Cashier &Barista; position at Fernie Alpine Resort. This position is for eveningsand part-time work. Every guest interaction is an chance to create alasting memory. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge make guests feelunique and valued. The ideal candidate will have previous cash handlingexperience, legendary customer service skills, and be able to make a cup ofcoffee.

You Will:

- Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for bothguests and staff
- Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment byfollowing proper HACCP procedures
- Process payment transactions using the point-of-salesystem
- Balance the register and prepare cash outs
- Refresh and restock areas as necessary
- Sell alcoholic beverages
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocolsoutlined in the RCR Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included inthe Safety Management Program

You Have:

- Serving it Right certification is required
- Barista certificate or equivalent an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Physically capable

You Will:

- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager

rules and protocolsoutlined in the RCR Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included inthe Safety Management Program

You Have:

- Previous cash handling experience
- Serving it Right certification is required
- Barista certificate or equivalent an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically capable

Compensation andBenefits:

- Competitive wage: $19.00/hour,dependent on experience

This is a part-time winter seasonalposition,4 evenings per week, 4pm-9pm.
