Veterinary Assistant

Compensation: $17.85 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years as a practicing veterinary assistant
- Previous surgical experience desired

Responsibilities

- Organize daily bookings and prepare caseload file information for Veterinarians and surgery team
- Point of contact between Veterinarian, Pet Owner and specialty departments
- Work closely with the ICU team and treatment team and assist where necessary
- Ability to thrive in a steady and often fast paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues
- Proven ability to keep accurate patient records
- Strong ability to problem-solve
