This individual will be working on the FortiManager, the centralized device management product, that configures the FortiGate. This team is expanding and looking for a developer who is passionate about C programming.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, design and test the software for FortiManagerHands-on in bug fixingMaintain and document code using source control systemMaintenance, performance tuning, and support of implemented software or firmware productsImplementnew features according to identified specsJob Skills Required5+ years' C/C++ work experienceExperience with TCP/IP, Firewall, UTMKnowledge of embedded security features and best practicesSoftware development experience in Unix/Linux environmentCapable of switching focus in various situations and applying themselves to quickly learning new technologies and adopting new methodologiesExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsRelational database skills is an assetEducational RequirementsBachelor's Degree (Masters or PhD is an asset)in Computer Science or similar degree.The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $135,000 - $190,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
