We have an immediate part time opportunity for a Production Assistant.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Working in concert with the Morning Live producer, Evening News producer, anchors, reporters, Lineup editor, writers and director-switchers, assist in all aspects of production of our newscasts on air and online
- Monitor social media and news feeds
- Post clips and other news to chch.com and other digital channels
- Liaise with Master Control & Traffic
- Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

- Possess at least six months of live news production experience
- Be well organized
- Demonstrate strong spelling and grammar skills
- Possess a broadcast diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Working knowledge of ENPS,



Adobe Premiere Pro and WordPress is a strong asset.
- Be familiar with the current events of Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and Brant.
