The Part‑Time Yard Staff safely receives, processes, lines up, sale‑day support, and checks out consigned equipment for the auction. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.

Responsibilities

- Receive and release (check‑in/check‑out) consigned equipment for auction
- Use an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction
- Drive and operate heavy and light equipment
- Perform facility inspections per checklists and provide housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary
- Perform basic maintenance on RBA‑owned equipment
- Manage keys for equipment
- Boost equipment
- Check fluid and fuel levels on equipment
- Assign lot numbers to equipment
- Set out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Valuable customer service skills to internal and external customers
- Valid driver’s license required
