In-home caregiver – private home – AsRe… family

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is November 1, 2025

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: AsRe… lives in Baie d’Urfe, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus #206 or #468). The major intersection is Saint-Charles boul. and Avenue du Souvenir.

Duties may include:

- 1- This job is to help with the care of a two children, one of whom lives with a chronic medical condition.
- 2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and take the child to and from appointments
- 3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts,



reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
- 4- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- 5- Bathe children as needed
- 6- Supervision of baby when parents are not at home
- 7- General housework that will include doing, laundry and some ironing.
- 8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean workplace

Qualifications:

- 1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
- 2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
- 3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
