Responsibilities
Safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Reading route sheets and servicing each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. Performing routine post and pre‑route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. Having qualified and courteous interactions with our customers when needed. Perform other miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Class 3 driver’s license (newly licensed drivers welcome to apply) Clean CVOR and Abstract Front‑load driving experience an asset 2‑3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred Benefits
Full time, with benefits $26.00 hourly rate Monday to Friday, based on a 10‑hour day Benefits and RRSP’s Waste Connections of Canada may use artificial intelligence to screen, assess or select applicants for its positions but final hiring decisions are made with human oversight.
