This role offers an opportunity for a Band 5 (Senior) Assistant Psychologist with experience in a mental health environment. You will play a crucial part in running psycho-educational groups, conducting patient assessments, and ensuring that clinical practices are evidence-based. Skills in empathy, assertiveness, and organization are vital due to the clinical nature of the role and the quick-paced workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-facilitate psycho-educational and webinar series • Conduct onboarding assessments with patients • Collect data to assess service effectiveness • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary team meetings • Provide consultations and support to other staff
Requirements: • Minimum experience in a mental health setting • Desire to work with individuals with personality disorders • Ability to empathize and communicate effectively • Strong organizational and time management skills • Experience or training in DBT is a plus
