Become a Comfort Keepers Companion/Homemaker to provide essential support and companionship to clients in their homes. This role is vital for ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
As a Companion/Homemaker, you will focus on delivering non-medical care that enhances the quality of life for clients. This includes companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation, as well as accompanying clients on outings. You will communicate any significant changes in client conditions to supervisors, fostering an effective support system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet clients' non-medical needs as outlined in care plans
• Engage clients in meaningful companionship activities
• Conduct light cleaning and housekeeping tasks
• Prepare and serve meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene
• Provide transport and company for client outings
Requirements:
• Must have a high school diploma
• Certification in CPR and First Aid required
• Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check necessary
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• Complete required Comfort Keepers training
