Additional Site Information

- Paid parking available in office
- Closest bus stop approximately a 15-minute walk
- Guards are eligible for Courtesy Ride Initiative
- Site Training includes 32 hours of training with cross-training across all shifts. Flexiable to train during the weekdays.

Responsibilities for Health Centre Security Guard

- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Document observed events and incidents,



writing detailed reports
- Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Health Centre Security Guard

- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
- Ability to patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Use of Force training is an asset
- First Aid Training is an asset
