The Operations Specialist, Crushing is the primary contact for all technical product support within the Crushing and Mineral Processing Division. This person is customer-facing, collaborating with all levels of our sales and services organizations. to internal and external customers.Provide technical expertise to support recent equipment design and build specifications.Liaison with Toromont’s field service teams and key suppliers to support warranty claims.Prepare and implement new and used equipment inspection protocols.Assist and/or execute new or used equipment inspection protocols.Prepare and implement inspection and repair protocols.Review, communicate and follow up on key supplier technical and safety bulletins to ensure supplier recommendations are followed across Toromont’s fleet base.Remain current on market trends and recognize opportunities for further business growth.Prepare and coordinate any Health and Safety initiativesParticipate in safe and environmentally sound work behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Toromont'sHealth and Safety Policy/Programs and best practicesSupport new product launches and/or special marketing campaigns.Other duties as assignedMust-haves for this role:5+ years’ experience in crushing & screening equipment as a field service technician, millwright, or similar.Solid understanding of crushing & screening equipment preventive maintenance, repair, rebuild and overhaul methods and procedures.Strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.Enjoy collaborating with, coaching and leading others.Self-directed/self-starter and flexible team player with the ability to work independently with high integrity and initiativeEffective time-management and planning.Adaptable to quickly changing schedules and priorities in a deadline driven environmentCustomer centric with a sense of urgency and the ability to maintain trusted customer relationshipsProficiency with Microsoft365.Ability to work flexible hours.Ability to travel across Canada and work in remote locations for up to 3 weeks at a time.A valid Driver's LicenseBilingual English & French is an asset#J-18808-Ljbffr
