In this post, candidates will have to perform varied and moderately complex work on a variety of diesel, gasoline and hybrid-powered passenger vehicles, service vehicles and related equipment. - Candidates are appointed to perform wide-ranging and moderately complex work on a variety of diesel, gasoline and hybrid-powered passenger vehicles, service vehicles and related equipment
- Candidates will also be appointed to conduct tests, diagnosis, repair, overhaul, and parts replacements.
- They’re required to conduct vehicle inspections and road service calls.
- Candidates are also responsible for treating passengers and employees with respect and dignity.

Job requirement





- Candidates must have a valid Province of Ontario Truck & Coach Technician Certificate (310-T), obtained through completion of the Grade 12 technical program.
- Candidates must obtain a valid, non-probationary, Province of Ontario class “G” driver’s license.
- Candidates must provide a set of hand tools as per the tool list established by the TTC.
- Candidates must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements about passengers and employees.
