and teaching practicesWork collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.Become proficient with digital educational materials and processesSupport the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environmentQualifications:Passion for math and working with studentsAbility to teach math at any or all levels. Positions available for elementary Math Instructors and for high school Math InstructorsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate professionally and build a rapport with parents, colleagues, and students of all ages.Excellent interpersonal skillsEagerness to learn and be trainedAbility to balance various ongoing tasksAll applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, be currently living within Airdrie and Calgary, Canada and pass a background check.Instructors are part-time employees who typically work between 8 and 20 hours per week. Our operation hours are between Monday and Friday (3 pm - 7:00 pm) each week commencing in September. Instructors are required to commit to at least 8 hours a week.Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing Canada, Inc. ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee centre is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their centre. If you are hired to work at a centre, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
