Overview

Position: Crane Operator (Journeyperson/Red Seal or 3rd Year Apprentice) based in Prince George, BC.

Job Type

Straight-time hourly position, unionized. Location: Sites of business operation as required; branch located at 9157 Rock Island Road, Prince George, BC (onsite).

Responsibilities

- Assisting crane operators in assembly, disassembly and transport of cranes.
- Rigging of equipment.
- Assist mechanic with the maintenance of cranes and general duties in the shop and yard.
- Delivery of equipment and rigging as needed.

Qualifications

- 3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate.
- Class 1A driver’s license is required.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate safe work practices, follow company policies,



and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- The successful candidate will be required to be in positive standing with IUOE Local 115 or become a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115.
