Eldorado Gold has a fantastic opportunity for a GIS Specialist at our Saskatoon office, supporting the McIlvenna Bay project. This full time position emphasizes spatial data analysis and management.

In this role, the GIS Specialist will ensure the effective use of GIS databases, generating accurate maps and figures for critical exploration projects. You'll be responsible for data collation and visualization, working closely with geologists and geophysicists. This position allows you to innovate with data visualization tools, crucial for the sustainable development of mining practices.

Key Responsibilities:



• Maintain folder structures and data integrity • Produce customized geographical visuals for communications • Evaluate alternative data visualization tools • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on data usage • Support decision-making with GIS software

Requirements: • Degree in Geography, Geology, or a related field • Experience with GIS software like ArcGIS and QGIS • Knowledge of Power BI and SQL data management • Demonstrated ability in spatial analysis • Strong communication to explain GIS concepts
