What you will be doing as a housekeeping MIT:
- Work as a team tomaintainthe interior and exterior cleanliness of the hostel.
- Clean all guestrooms efficiently and effectively to ensure they are ready for check-in time.
- Ensure allcommon areas, washrooms,showersand hallways are cleaned to our standard.
- Follow the hostel cleaning schedule.
- Communicate regularly with the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Night Auditor to ensure rooms are cleaned as needed.
- Perform laundry duties such as collecting linens and towels, washing, folding, and putting them away.
- Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with administrative tasks
You will lead by example in the Housekeeping Department and support the efficient daily housekeeping operations of then hostel by modelling our high standards in cleaning, customer service and hostel operations.
What we look for
- Prior housekeeping experience is an asset
- Proficient multi-tasking abilitiesThe ability to work well independently and as a team member
- Ability to carry loads of linen up and down the stairs
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts
You’ll need to enjoy working as part of a team and bringing your positive energy to work every day. Our Housekeeping department has one of the most important tasks in our hostel, and we need teammates who are keen to be part of deliveringgreatexperience to our guests every day. Your attention to detail will be the foundation of all this.
