We are currently looking for a Shunter Operator to join our team in Laval.

What you will be responsible for :

- Move and position dry boxes (closed containers) around the yard;
- Operate different shunter trucks and the tilt truck ("frog");
- Move non-ferrous material bins to the appropriate areas;
- Perform the necessary maneuvers to position trailers and containers;
- Perform basic equipment checks before use;
- Report any equipment issues or concerns to your supervisor;
- Operate equipment safely and follow health and safety procedures;
- Perform other duties related to yard operations as needed.

Qualifications

- You have a valid Class 5 driver's license;
- You have experience driving heavy vehicles (asset);
- You have experience in a similar position (asset);
- You are comfortable maneuvering and driving in a yard;




- You are safety-conscious and follow health and safety rules;
- You are responsible, independent, and organized;
- You enjoy working as part of a team;
- You are bilingual in French and English (asset).

CA$35.00–CA$50.00 hourly
