The role is to provide comprehensive childcare and household support in an employer‑run home setting. The position requires a full‑time commitment with flexible hours that include evenings, mornings, and other times as needed.

Responsibilities

- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children




- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for children
- Tend to the emotional well‑being of children
- Cook meals as required

Qualifications

- High‑school diploma or equivalent education
- Experience in childcare is an asset
- Personal suitability: organized, reliable, punctual, adaptable, good time management, patient, honest, and a strong communicator
- Physical capability to perform light housekeeping tasks
- Must be a permanent resident, temporary resident with a valid work permit, or Canadian citizen and authorized to work in Canada
