This permanent full-time position involves planning, organizing, and leading the engineering team, along with managing the review process for development proposals. Work autonomously while consulting the Director of Planning & Development on significant matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct Development Engineering Section's activities
• Evaluate and approve development proposals with independent judgment
• Ensure compliance with engineering regulations and practices




• Liaise with various departments and project stakeholders
• Foster cutting-edge engineering approaches for effective city planning
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related area
• Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering roles
• Proven track record in management and supervision
• Eligibility for professional engineering certification required
• Must possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
