With a focus on learning and continuous improvement, we are proud to invest in our people and offer a progressive and flexible work culture where you can develop and advance your career while focusing on meaningful work.The OpportunityLeavitt Machinery is looking for a mechanically skilled Dock & DoorField Technicianto join our Service team inOttawa, Ontario.Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Technician will be assigned to a variety of machinery repair tasks required by our loyal customers.As a Field Technician your key responsibilities will include:Diagnose, repair, and maintain warehouse dock systems, dock levelers, seals, shelters, bumpers, and related componentsService and repair various types of overhead/rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, and associated hardwareComplete preventive maintenance and safety inspectionsRespond to service calls in a timely, skilled mannerDocument work performed and communicate findings to customers and internal teamsEnsure all work meets company standards and adheres to safety regulationsAssist with installations of new dock and door equipment as requiredRequired Skills & QualifitcationsPrevious experience as a Dock & Door Technician,
