As a freelance developer, you will design curricula that incorporate Indigenous knowledge and community priorities. Adaptability and effective communication are essential as you navigate collaborations with educators and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and develop K-12 curricula rooted in Indigenous culture • Support holistic growth through developmentally appropriate practices • Engage in professional development workshops for educators • Participate in collaborative meetings with Learning Bird team • Travel as needed to connect with communities for curriculum insights
Requirements: • Master’s degree or equivalent education experience • Experience in K-12 settings, especially with Indigenous communities • Strong presentation and networking skills • Proven organizational competence • Willingness to travel to remote Indigenous communities
