Currently seeking a casual cook for our 38 person facility to prepare and serve meals and snacks under the direction of the Full time Cook Team Lead.
If you are familiar with batch cooking, baking, and possess a food safe certificate you may be our person.
Hours for this position can be 9:30am - 6:30pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm Sunday to Saturday.
Other duties include:
- Ensuring food is served on time and at food safe temperatures
- Must be able to move quickly at times.
- Able to lift 50lb stock pots
- Maintain supplies in kitchen area (refilling and unpacking groceries).
- Wash dishes, pots and pans, and kitchen equipment as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Safe food handling course.
- Previous kitchen experience in a residential, commercial or restaurant.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable sector check is a requirement of employment.
- Valid driver's license.
Position to commence immediately.
