This role reports to the Recreation Supervisor and focuses on the instruction of specialized fitness activities for participants aged 55 and over. You are required to maintain relevant certifications to provide a comprehensive high-level fitness experience. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials and addressing the unique needs of participants during classes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct various fitness programs for seniors, ensuring engagement
• Prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Ensure safety protocols are followed,



providing first aid as necessary
• Track attendance and performance of class participants
• Assist the public with questions relating to fitness programs
Requirements:
• Valid certifications in fitness instruction disciplines
• At least two years of relevant experience in program delivery
• Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Availability for flexible work hours, including evenings
• Strong ability to work independently and make informed decisions
