Join Keewaytinook Okimakanak as a full time Speech Language Pathologist in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Provide essential clinical services to children with developmental delays or disabilities.
This agile role involves clinical assessments, developing individualized programs, and providing both group and individual interventions. You will also use telemedicine for follow-up consultations and maintain transparent communication with families.
The SLP will travel to various communities and collaborate with local educators and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of speech and language functions
Design and implement individualized speech programs
Deliver direct interventions on an individual or group basis
Collaborate with families and community organizations
Supervise supportive personnel and monitor child progress
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
Experience working with First Nation communities
Strong communication and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license and Criminal Record Check
