A well-established small animal practice in Auburn Bay, Southeast Calgary, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our agile team. This position is perfect for individuals with some experience in the veterinary field who are eager to expand their knowledge and contribute to a progressive practice.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Desired Attributes and Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience
Organized, calm under pressure, and focused on providing excellent customer service
Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties
Comfortable answering phone calls and booking appointments
Ability to multi-task efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Proficient in animal restraint for veterinarians and technicians
Strong understanding of hygiene standards in a veterinary setting
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members




Resourceful and proactive when dealing with client inquiries
Kennel care experience
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills

Additional Qualifications:
Previous experience in veterinary care and/or animal handling is an asset
Proximity to Auburn Bay, Calgary, is preferred
