Teck is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Ironworker to enhance its operations. You will report to the Group Leader and play a key role in overseeing safety compliance, directing hoist or crane operations, and managing various structural activities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety initiatives and adhere to protocols
• Supervise hoist and crane operators during tasks
• Erect and install hoisting equipment and rigging
• Dismantle structures and perform repairs
• Fit and weld metal sections as needed
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Ironworker or Boilermaker Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Participation in fitness assessments required
