Join Vortex FreightSystems as a Pricing Analyst, contributing to strategic planning and analysis in a agile logistics setting. This role focuses on data analysis and developing robust pricing strategies.
As a new member of the five-person Pricing Team, you’ll directly report to the Director of Pricing & Analytics. Your job will involve analyzing financial data, responding to Request For Quotes (RFQs), and providing insights for operational improvements. You will also collaborate with various teams to streamline processes and assist in competitive due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze data for pricing new and existing clients
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support management
• Suggest strategies for profitable growth based on data reviews




• Understand operational and IT systems for improvement
• Support leadership in project plans and timelines
Requirements:
• 1-3 years in pricing, financial analysis, or consulting
• Degree in economics, math, business, or engineering
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience in entrepreneurial settings, preferred
• Strong communication, perseverance, and teamwork skills
