Educational Assistant

Location: Mountview Elementary

30 hours weekly August 24, 2026 to November 6, 2026 with possibility of extension.

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence.

The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-5.

Desirable Qualifications And Attributes

- Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education
- Ability to build upon and facilitate positive relationships through valued attachments
- Ability to support inclusive education opportunities for students in a variety of grades
- Experience with Complex Special Educational Needs and Autism is considered an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Ability to work with paraprofessionals such as speech pathologist, occupational therapists and school based learning team




- NVCI or SIVA training would be considered an asset
