Enhance the dining experience at Dufferin Centre Retirement Residence as a Meal Service Server. This part-time role is focused on serving meals and ensuring dining satisfaction for residents and their guests.
You will work on a 12-month contract where you will be responsible for taking orders, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Your role includes organizing work processes and demonstrating empathy towards seniors’ needs, all while adhering to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve food and beverages with care
• Prepare and present meals to residents
• Maintain a clean and organized dining workplace
• Safely operate kitchen and dining equipment
• Wash and sort all dining utensils and equipment
Requirements:
• Experience in food service is desirable
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds
• Positive communication skills for interacting with residents
• Safe Food Handler’s Certification is necessary
• Must maintain high standards of hygiene
