Responsibilities
Provide daily care for swine, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health status
Assist with herd movement, sorting, and grouping to optimize farm productivity
Conduct regular inspections to identify signs of illness or injury among animals
Operate and maintain farm machinery such as feeders, waterers, and cleaning equipment
Perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting to manage feed bags, supplies, and animals
Keep detailed records of herd health, treatments, and daily activities




Support biosecurity protocols to prevent disease spread within the herd

Skills
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain farm machinery efficiently
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in various farm tasks
Familiarity with farm machinery operation and maintenance is highly desirable
Robust work ethic with attention to detail in animal care and record keeping
Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks in outdoor environments
Good communication skills for teamwork and following instructions accurately
