Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between ship captains, port authorities, and logistics teams to coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo operations
Monitor vessel movements and ensure adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading, manifests, and customs paperwork with precision and attention to detail
Facilitate communication regarding cargo loading, unloading procedures, and any operational issues that arise during transit
Coordinate with rigging teams to ensure proper handling of cargo equipment and securement processes on vessels




Maintain accurate records of vessel activities, compliance checks, and operational reports for audit purposes
Assist in resolving logistical challenges promptly to minimize delays and optimize shipping efficiency

Skills
Robust knowledge of maritime shipping procedures, regulations, and safety standards
Mechanical knowledge related to ship equipment, cargo handling gear, and rigging techniques
Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders across ports, ships, and logistics providers
Ability to interpret technical documents and shipping regulations clearly and accurately
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and safety compliance
Proficiency in using shipping management software and documentation tools
Physical capability for rigging tasks or assisting with cargo handling when necessary
