Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our restaurant or hotel kitchen. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently.

Duties:
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
Ensure that all items are properly cleaned, rinsed, and sanitized
Sort and stack clean dishes for easy access by kitchen staff
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or cutting fruits
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors
Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace and handle multiple tasks simultaneously




Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Knowledge of basic food service and preparation techniques is a plus
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from supervisors
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary

Skills:
Help with various tasks in the kitchen as needed
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Experience working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is desirable
