Job Summary

Duties
Dispense medications accurately while adhering to medical terminology and pharmacy protocols
Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication counseling and education tailored to pediatric and adult populations
Support medication administration processes within hospital and acute care settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy plans for diverse patient needs
Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient interactions
Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies,



and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Stay informed about updates in medical guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations to uphold best practices

Experience
Previous hospital experience or acute care pharmacy background is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating sensitivity to their unique needs
Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care in rapid-paced healthcare environments
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record-keeping protocols
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
