Medical device manufacturer located in Central British Columbia requires an experienced electronic technician to join in our manufacturing team.
This is primarily a hand’s on position with approximately 75% assembly of product and 25% development and support work. High skill level and experience in manual assembly of electromechanical and electronic components is necessary.
Some travel may be required to provide onsite service of devices and support of field technicians.
Candidate must possess the following skills:
Exceptional hands on mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with soldering on pcb’s and cable assemblies
Broad knowledge of Windows operating systems
High technical ability in trouble shooting and problem solving
High competency with written skills in order to maintain written documentation
Exceptional work quality with focus on perfection
Additional skills for the position:
Proficiency in C# and C++ programming languages
Knowledge in SQL Database management and configurationSkill in firmware coding in assembly language
Knowledge in PCB design
Familiarity with ISO 13485 setting and procedures
Salary commensurate with experience.
