Duties
Assess patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting comprehensive examinations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and recovery goals.
Provide hands-on therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training.
Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to maximize recovery outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques,
and post-treatment exercises.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards.
Skills
Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care settings.
Strong background in pediatric physiotherapy with the ability to adapt treatments for children of various ages.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and motivation.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and healthcare documentation.
Ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care.
Exceptional communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages.
