In-home caregiver – private home – RiPa… family

- NOC Job Code/Title: 44101 - Family Caregiver

Terms of employment- This job is for a full time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. French or English. Job start date is August 31, 2026

Salary- Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.

Location- RiPa… lives in the city of Westmount, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus #24). The major intersection is Atwater/Sherbrooke West.

Duties may include:

1- This job is to help with the care of three children, ages 8, 7, and 3 years old. The eldest suffers from a chronic health condition and requires special care and attention

2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home

3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise

4- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

5- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children.



Kitchen clean-up is also required

6- General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing

7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education.

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.

4- Experience with young babies and children is an asset
