WANTED JOURNEYMAN WELDER / FABRICATOR Full-Time Permanent Position Swift Current, Saskatchewan C & D Machine and Welding is a locally owned and operated welding and machine shop looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

We are a fully equipped, modern shop specializing in the repair and manufacture of agriculture, agricultural research, and oilfield-related equipment. Our shop is equipped for MIG, TIG, stick, flux-core, oxy-acetylene, plasma, and more.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a mechanically inclined Welder who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working on a variety of welding, fabrication, repair, and manufacturing projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Journeyman Welder certification preferred; 3rd-year apprentice may be considered
- Must be able to successfully pass an in-shop CWB welding examination
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable with a variety of welding and fabrication processes




- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Personal tools for the trade are considered an asset
