The company works on projects ranging from smaller scopes throughto large, complex programs, with a focus on cost effective delivery, technical quality, and robust client relationships.Job OverviewOur client is looking for an experienced Pipeline Project Manager to lead and execute small to medium-large pipeline projects in an EPCM environment. This role is well suited to someone with experience managing gathering systems, pipeline programs, and related pipeline facilities such as LACT units, meter stations, and pigging infrastructure. You will manage schedules, budgets, technical deliverables, client expectations, regulatory requirements, and multidisciplinary project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and manage small to medium-large pipeline projects for upstream and midstream oil and gas clientsOversee engineering and design work for gathering systems, pipeline programs, and pipeline facilitiesSupport the development, review, and approval of deliverables such as P&IDs;, plot plans, line lists, isometrics, alignment sheets, DBMs, engineering assessments, material evaluations, and contract recommendationsDevelop and manage detailed project schedules using MS ProjectPrepare and manage project budgets, with a focus on cost effective deliveryEnsure project work complies with CSA Z662, applicable pipeline regulations, safety requirements,
and client standardsCoordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teamsIdentify and manage project risks related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safetyMaintain clear communication with clients, vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholdersMentor junior engineers and Engineers-in-TrainingPrepare and present regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior leadershipOversee or support hydraulic analysis of pipeline systemsCore CompetenciesPipeline project management experience in an EPCM environmentKnowledge of gathering systems, pipeline facilities, transportation systems, and auxiliary infrastructureAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, budgets, and schedules at the same timeFamiliarity with CSA Z662 and applicable provincial pipeline and pressure piping regulationsStrong understanding of project cost control, client requirements, and engineering deliverablesExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teamsClear client communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to identify risks, solve problems, and keep projects movingProficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Bluebeam RevuOrganised, deadline driven, and comfortable working in a fast paced consulting environmentEducation and ExperienceMinimum 8 years of experience managing pipeline and/or facility projects in the oil and gas sectorPrevious EPCM experience is requiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is an assetP.Eng. designation in good standing with APEGA, EGBC, or an equivalent governing body is an assetMust be legally authorized to work in CanadaPipeline Project Management, Pipeline Engineering, EPCM, Oil and Gas, Midstream, Upstream, Gathering Systems, CSA Z662, MS Project, Pipeline Facilities
