Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, and contemporary software development practices.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Develop and integrate RESTful Web APIs and backend services.
Work with SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, queries, and performance optimization.
Use Entity Framework Core and LINQ for data access.
Apply OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Collaborate with UI developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other team members.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
Write unit and integration tests and ensure application quality.
Work with Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Contribute to application performance, scalability, security,



and reliability improvements.

Required Skills
5–7 years of professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and REST services.
Good knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Solid problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Angular, React, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with xUnit/NUnit/Moq or other testing frameworks.
Understanding of application security and performance optimization.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
Toronto, ON M5G 1Z3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
.NET: 6 years (preferred)
