Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that food safety standards are met. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and enjoy working in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.

Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Help with meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure productive service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Skills




Proficient in food preparation techniques with a solid understanding of kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry.
Experience working in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all meals meet quality standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
