Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. A solid background in food service and kitchen operations is essential for success in this position.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying management when restocking is needed.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of stations.

Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn recent skills within the culinary field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
