Part time Cook

Requirements:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in cooking (e.g., Cook, Institutional Cook, Assistant Cook) under relevant Ontario legislation
Culinary certificate or diploma from an approved institution (Red Seal designation considered an asset)
Experience in institutional food, cooking, delivery & practices
Knowledge of the use & cleaning of equipment used in the department
Accurate reading, writing communication & comprehension skills
Current CPIC – original Step 2 CRC, less than 6 months. old
Occ. H&S; Awareness training for workers cert.

Must be willing to commit to scheduled shifts.
Wage rate as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
