Dentist (Associate) – Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and experienced Associate Dentist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be confident in performing a wide range of dental procedures, including more complex treatments, while ensuring a high standard of patient care and comfort.

This position is ideal for an experienced dentist who is comfortable handling comprehensive treatment plans and complex cases in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions
Confidently perform molar root canal treatments, surgical and routine extractions, and other complex dental procedures
Examine patients’ teeth and gums using X-rays and clinical assessments
Diagnose dental conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
Clearly discuss treatment options, procedures, and costs with patients
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and long-term oral health
Work collaboratively with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver productive and high-quality care
Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker management software




Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technology

Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
Active Canadian dental license in good standing
Minimum experience preferred, with the ability to independently perform complex dental treatments
Robust clinical skills including molar root canals, extractions, and comprehensive restorative treatment
Experience with Tracker dental software is an asset
Excellent communication and patient management skills
Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced practice
Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology is a plus

Schedule Requirements
Must be available to work every other Saturday
