Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities
Support the Product Developer in the development of new products and optimization of existing products
Support plant trials and oversee first production runs for new product launches, including coordination, problem resolution, and documentation
Assist with sensory evaluations of samples and finished products
Assist the Product Developer in establishing shelf life for current products
Develop and update specification sheets of products
Develop and maintain internal process documentation for new products in collaboration with Quality Control
Review retail label artwork for accuracy and regulatory compliance in collaboration with internal teams
Create shipping labels for new products, update for existing products as needed, and maintain documentation
Assist the Product Developer with the completion and maintenance of client portals and documentation as needed




Follow up on shipments to customers as needed

Qualifications
Leadership skill
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with strong initiative and accountability
Solid attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Adaptability and flexibility to changes in processing
Fluent in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of French is an asset.

Experience
Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutritional science or equivalent training
Experience in food product development, quality control, regulatory or equivalent experience
Experience with basic software such as Excel, Word, Microsoft Team
