Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be capable of performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work workplace.
Requirements
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems preferred.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
Experience with CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is desirable.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
Strong customer service orientation with positive communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
