About Us:

MontDoré is a brand-current French pastry and bakery opening its doors in Vaughan! We are passionate about bringing authentic French pastries, artisanal breads, and high-quality specialty coffee to our community in a warm, elevated atmosphere. ​

The Role:

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and versatile Barista / All-Rounder to join our founding team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations—crafting great beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and keeping the café flow smooth and welcoming. ​

Key Responsibilities: ​

Barista Operations: Dial in espresso, steam milk to perfection, and prepare classic coffee drinks (latte, cappuccino, flat white), iced beverages, matcha, cold foam drinks, and house specialties. ​

Front-of-House Hospitality: Warmly greet guests, answer questions about our French pastries, assist at the cash register, and manage orders efficiently. ​

Café Support:



Assist with restocking display cases, maintaining a spotless workstation, clearing tables, and helping out where needed during rush hours. ​

What We’re Looking For: ​

Barista Experience: Solid hands-on experience with commercial espresso machines, milk steaming, and beverage assembly (including iced drinks and matcha). ​

Versatility & Initiative: A true "all-rounder" mindset—comfortable multi-tasking and jumping in wherever help is needed. ​

Robust Communication: Friendly, upbeat, and qualified customer service skills. ​

Languages: English proficiency is required. French-speaking is a strong asset (as our owners are French-speaking!).

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
