Duties
Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project planning and execution
Support concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structures
Help with drywall installation, siding, and restoration work to enhance building aesthetics and integrity
Operate heavy equipment responsibly for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or assisting with site preparation




Participate in safety procedures including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work setting to ensure efficiency and safety on site

Requirements
Enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn the carpentry trade
Basic understanding of construction concepts or prior construction experience is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques preferred
Willingness to follow detailed instructions from experienced tradespeople
Valuable communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for ongoing training and project success
