On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 12 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Business Analyst - Senior - Job Description:
The Business Analyst - Senior will be engaged in projects that involve providing a comprehensive range of I⁢ business analysis services to meet diverse business and technological needs. This role involves preparing and advising on business analysis policies, processes, and best practices to ensure a consistent approach within the organization.

Business Analyst - Senior - Responsibilities:
Provide a comprehensive range of I⁢ business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs
Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements
Prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards
Lead and conduct business analysis to assess client’s business problems/prospects
Develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for business I⁢ initiatives
Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, and data flow modeling for assigned projects




Monitor progress, resolve problems, and report regularly to I⁢ management and stakeholders

Business Analyst - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
8+ years’ experience in business analysis
Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions
Creating detailed business analysis documents, user stories, and business cases
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Experience with OPS I⁢ Processes, Standards, and artifacts
Experience with Azure cloud technologies

Business Analyst - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with user-centric website/forms design
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
Experience with Figma, HTML, CSS
Experience in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
